E-CLEDER research group at the UPV/EHU
The E-CLEDER research group recognised by the Basque Government (IT1314-19) at the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea works in the field of energy (renewable energies), risk management and ongoing climate change adaptation.
All the activities are focused on comprehensive sustainability and its main materials, taking climate change adaptation into account by means of resilient design and the implementation of renewable energies. These include:
- Leading research projects with BCAM and TECNALIA in Marine Energy (ME)
- Strategic alliances with unique facilities: BIMEP
- Coordinating the Erasmus Mundus Master in Renewable Energy in the Marine Environment (REM) (and now the REM+)
- Working closely with the JRL-ORE (Joint Research Laboratory on Offshore Renewable Energy)
