National Renewable Energy Centre

The National Renewable Energy Centre develops applied research in renewable energies and provides technological support to companies and energy institutions in six areas: wind, solar thermal and photovoltaic solar energy, biomass, smart and efficient buildings and districts, and grid energy integration.

It is a leading technology centre with recognised prestige and activity in Spain and in other countries. Its Board is made up of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, Ciemat, the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, and the Government of Navarra.

It leads numerous wind energy projects.
